2018 Capitol Ride Details

 Participation Fee 

Rider Option 1 - Single Room, No Sharing: $485.00 Participation Fee, Per Person. No fundraising required, but is highly encouraged. The $20.00 fee at the time of registration is applied to your total balance due, leaving a $455.00 balance. (The balance will be due the day of the ride to participate.)

Rider Option 2 - Shared Room with Another Rider: $375.00 Participation Fee, Per Person. No fundraising required, but is highly encouraged. The $20.00 fee at the time of registration is applied to your total balance due, leaving a $355.00 balance. You must have a pre-determined roommate for this option or you will be sleeping with Parny. (The balance will be due the day of the ride to participate.)

 Fee Includes 

Individual or shared luxurious accommodations each night (Marriot Fairfield Inns & Townplace Suites), breakfast and lunch each day, jersey, SAG support, insurance, Moffitt Day Celebration party, transportation home for you and your gear.

Day 4, Short ride to the Capitol with LOTS OF HILLS!

 Ride Location 

Leaving the Moffitt Cancer Center on Sunday, January 14th, arriving at the Capitol in Tallahassee on Wednesday, January 17th, 2018.

 Transportation Home 

Transportation home will be provided by motor coach through the Moffitt Cancer Center. We will also have AAA providing a box truck for all gear.

 Ride Age & Ability Requirements 

Adults Only. Riders must be able to maintain an average of 15mph for 3-100 mile days.

 Disclaimer 

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the Cure On Wheels BIKE-A-THON, and its related events and activities, I, the undersigned, acknowledge and agree that:
  1. The risk of injury from the activities involved in this event is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and,
  2. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the releasees or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,
  3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation, including any and all rules and regulations posted by the ride organizers. If, however, I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and,
  4. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless Cure on Wheels, Inc., its officers, directors, volunteers, officials, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies and organizations, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event ("Releasees"), with respect to any and all injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property, Whether arising from the negligence of the releasees or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
